I have been a Facebook friend of yours for some time, yet I just found out, today that you are a singer with an AMAZING voice! This should have happened before; I am embarrassed! I am friends with Janie Cribbs and her husband Joe and the T Rust Band from my years living on Whidbey Island, and I knew Ann and Nancy Wilson and performed briefly with them for a few years when we were in our late teens, but haven't been able to make contact since they became famous. What recording of yours is your favorite?
Mine is a song I wrote and than had a chance to sing at the Heart of Women Concert in LaConner
Sorry about that and thanks for letting me know! It's been fixed, and here's a link for you... http://fburls.com/83-WiUBJUE0
I had a wonderful time thanks you!
Thank you for letting me know. I will be playing at a place called the Benchwarmers in west Mount Vernon on May 29th, 2015 in the area.
BEst and thank you for keeping in touch,
Online promotion via social networks and Eventful plus zvents type outlets online. Thanks for asking the question. I have found that press releases work well for print. It really does seem that as an independent artist you need to use all the forms of promotion. Posters, Print, social networks, email, blogs, interviews etc. in order to get your gigs to fill up and music to be heard.
This is Duane Melcher and I was blown away hearing you at the Coffee Cove. You said you needed to get back to some Ella 40's tunes. I promise you that if you get you music selections balanced at 50% r blues and 50% Jazz and swing your career will take off even faster than it is now. Think of the thousands of fans Ella had. I never thought I would meet another Ella F. but I did the other night. God gave you the same gift that he gave her. WOW!!
I am very very happy to have met you!!

Duane, I appreciate so much your high praise and certainly take it to heart. I will consider your advice as I love the swing of Ella and the music. :-)
